Privacy
Privacy, in plain language.

The short version
This site has no accounts, no forms, and nothing to sign up for. The only data involved is anonymous usage statistics from two analytics tools, plus whatever you choose to put in an email if you write to me. I don’t sell data, run ads, or share anything with anyone.
Analytics
I use two tools to understand how the site is used: which pages get read, roughly where visitors come from, and whether the site feels fast. Vercel Analytics is cookieless: it counts visits and page views without identifying you or following you to other sites. Google Analytics goes a little deeper, noting pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location, and uses cookies to tell returning visitors from new ones. I see this data only in aggregate; none of it tells me who you are.
Cookies
The only cookies here belong to Google Analytics. Blocking them, through your browser settings or a content blocker, breaks nothing. Every page works exactly the same without them.
If you email me
Reaching out happens over plain email. Your message stays in my mailbox, gets used for exactly one thing (replying to you), and is never added to a list or shared. If you’d like an old thread deleted, just ask.
Elsewhere links
Links to LinkedIn, Instagram, and other sites take you to services with their own privacy practices, which I don’t control. The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs to run the infrastructure.
Changes and questions
If the way this site handles data changes, this page changes with it; the date at the top is the tell. Questions? Email me at hello@ryankm.com.
